Information You Submit
Search Queries
When you enter a name or other search detail in a third-party widget, the information goes to the company that operates that tool so it can process the query. Falls County Warrant Records does not store or log those search terms on its own servers.
Messages
If you send an email to the site operator, the message may be kept so a reply can be prepared. It is not shared outside the operating team unless a legal duty requires disclosure.
Technical Visit Details
When a page loads, the server may receive technical information about the visit, such as:
- The browser type and version
- The device and operating system
- The pages opened and time spent on them
- The address of a site that referred the visit, when available
- The IP address assigned to the device
- Time and date stamps for page requests
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved by a browser. The site uses them and analytics services to understand which pages receive visits and where readers leave. Browser settings can block cookies, though some features may not work the same way afterward.
How Site Data Is Used
- To keep pages available and improve load speed
- To send a widget query to the outside provider that handles it
- To see which reference pages are useful and which need revision
- To find and repair technical problems
- To display ads that may relate to a reader’s interests
No Warrant Database Is Hosted
This site does not keep, sell, or compile a database of Falls County warrants or personal warrant records. It provides general information about where a record may be held, including the Sheriff’s Office, the District Clerk, the County Clerk, and the city or JP court that issued process. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report or a database about other people.
Outside Search Providers
The search boxes are operated by third-party companies. Information entered into a box is handled under that provider’s privacy terms, not this policy. Each company sets its own retention and sharing practices. Read those terms before submitting details to an outside service.
Links to Other Services
Pages on this site may link to a sheriff’s office, court, state agency, legal resource, or search provider. Opening one takes you to a separate service with its own privacy terms. Review those terms before giving it information.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to track activity across sites and select ads. Falls County Warrant Records does not control those systems.
Who May Receive Information
The site does not sell personal information. Depending on how it is used, information may be handled by:
- Search services that receive queries through their widgets
- Analytics companies that measure site use
- Advertising services that place content on pages
- A government body or law-enforcement office when a valid legal process requires it
Steps to Protect Information
The operator uses standard security measures for information it handles. Internet systems can still fail or be breached, so no promise can be made that every transmission or stored message will remain secure in all circumstances.
Visitors Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a minor’s details are sent to the operator, they may be removed when the issue is brought to its attention.
Your Data Choices
The Texas Public Information Act concerns existing records held by Texas government bodies. It does not make this private reference site a government records office, and county-court access rules may differ from an executive office’s public-record process. For a government record, ask the Falls County office that maintains it. For information handled by an outside search provider, use that provider’s privacy policy and available choices.
- Ask what visitor information the operator retains, if any
- Request a correction if information about you is inaccurate
- Ask whether retained details can be removed
- Use browser settings to limit cookies or tracking
Texas Government Code Chapter 552 describes public information and applicable exceptions for records held by state and local government.
Policy Updates
This policy may be revised as the site’s practices change. A new version will appear here with its effective date. Check the policy again if you want to review current handling.
